Our Service To You

The Speaker Store is based in South Manchester and offers replacement drivers and speaker parts to all areas of the UK and Europe via a nationwide delivery service through either a third party courier on a two to three working day time schedule or a similar service via Royal Mail. All items shipped are tracked and most times will require a signature upon delivery.

We also offer a call in facility where we can diagnose your speaker issues and offer a repair where possible or an exchange of drivers or other components on site. Please call us prior to setting off, as we are often out and about on installation work on 07788 725726 to arrange an appointment, normally on a Monday or Tuesday

Replacement Drivers
When your speaker driver blows, most times it cannot be repaired, resulting in some cases, a very costly replacement. As well as being able to supply you with high spec. premium branded makes of speaker, we can also supply less expensive imported units as a more cost effective solution. We stock drivers from 3", 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 21,all the way to an Earth moving 24" used by one of the UK's finest speaker manufacturers. In some cases, depending on manufacturer and model we can provide recone kits as an alternative to a new driver, less expensive but sometimes difficult to fit. Again, one of our team can fit for an additional cost.most

Quality Equipment

High Frequency Drivers and Piezo Horns
If your speaker sounds muddy and has no clarity, it normally means that the compression driver or Piezo horn has blown. As with the bass driver, these cannot be repaired, therefore a replacement is required. Most of the 1" drivers are reasonably priced, the 2" and 3" see quite a dramatic increase in cost, however, all is not lost as replacement diaphragms are sometimes available depending on manufacturer and model number. Piezo horns are readily available and offer a more cost effective design to produce the higher frequencies, these can just screw onto the existing flare or come with flares attached or bullet type designs.

Our team offers personalized guidance for your speaker components, foam and rubber surrounds are more complicated than just purchasing the same size in diameter surround as the driver, various other considerations have to be taken into account

Speaker repairs & parts

Based in South Manchester, The Speaker Store provides replacement drivers both branded and unbranded makes, crossovers and high frequency compression drivers used in the pro audio industry as well as domestic Hi fi tweeters & other components.

Whilst we also aim to repair amplifiers, headphones and other audio devices, it is now getting a lot harder to repair certain items due to the "throw away" nature of the industry with the reluctance to supply parts and schematics to non stock holding companies along with the masking of component values now makes just a simple diagnostic a time consuming effort, therefore we have had to introduce a small fee to cover this time, the fee will be required before we inspect any item, if we find the item can be repaired we will provide you with a quotation before any work is carried out, should you proceed with the repair then the initial inspection fee will be discounted from the invoice.
